Over 500 customers from more than 200 process manufacturing companies in 43 countries shared best practices for using process optimization software to capture opportunity in today's changing global economy.

  • The aspenONE Global Conference is the only industry conference exclusively focused on optimizing process manufacturing from design, through manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • AspenTech President & CEO Mark Fusco opened the event introducing the 2010 conference theme: "Capturing Opportunity." Following a keynote presentation by AspenTech Senior Vice President Manolis Kotzabasakis, leading process industry senior executives discussed how optimizing the entire process manufacturing value chain can deliver superior operational and financial results. Customer keynote speakers included:

  • Following the opening session, the keynote speakers engaged in an interactive panel discussion moderated by FIATECH's Executive Director, Dr. Ric Jackson.
  • During the conference, over 160 papers were presented across Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain tracks that addressed the most pressing issues process industry companies face today including energy management, GHG reduction, integrated supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, megaprojects, alternative fuels, and achieving operational excellence.
  • The conference also included the first ever AspenTech University Forum, with professors from MIT, University of Pennsylvania, Lehigh University, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, University of Washington and others participating.
