Aspen Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AZPN), a leading provider of
software and services to the process industries, today announced the general
availability of aspenONE® Engineering, and aspenONE®
Manufacturing and Supply Chain Version 9.1 software.
The latest aspenONE Engineering innovations include the new Aspen Coil
Wound Exchanger, integrated with Aspen HYSYS® software to complete
the solution for rigorous modeling of all cryogenic heat exchangers used in liquefied
natural gas (LNG) applications at the equipment and process level. With up to
40 percent of energy used during the liquefaction of natural gas consumed by
the refrigeration process, the ability to conduct system-wide optimization, and
debottleneck the entire LNG process offers significant opportunity for energy
savings and avoidance of unplanned downtime.
The 2016 Cost Basis Update and new models in Aspen Capital Cost
Estimator™ software (ACCE) are also available in the latest aspenONE V9.1
software release. Improvements to the piping and instrumentation diagram
(P&ID) editor improve ease-of-use and the accuracy of estimates by
reflecting engineering designs earlier, reducing CAPEX risk.
