Aspen Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AZPN),

collaborative technical partnership with the Engineering Development Research
Center (EDRC) of Seoul National University.
Antonio Pietri, President and
CEO, AspenTech, will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the EDRC today
at the US-Korea Business Innovation Forum, in advance of South Korean President
Geun-hye’s fourth summit meeting with President Obama. The AspenTech EDRC MoU will
continue the development of Korea-customized AspenTech customer training programs,
as well as support process engineering graduate student internships and other
initiatives including joint research and development programs.
AspenTech’s partnership with
EDRC is a continuation of the company’s long-standing tradition of collaborating
with the academic community to drive innovation and advancement in process
manufacturing. Since its founding as a
result of an MIT/Department of Energy project in 1981, AspenTech has worked
with hundreds of the world’s leading engineering universities, including Columbia
University, MIT, Tufts University, the University of Massachusetts, and
